Our parent company, Gaggle.Net, is a leading provider of email accounts to school districts throughout the United States. Gaggle.Net currently hosts over 1 million email accounts.
The original mission of Gaggle was to provide a safe student email solution. As part of that system the teachers and administrators have the ability to review all mail that students send and receive.
Gaggle.Net Inc.’s school email system is the winner of numerous awards including finalist nominations for two prestigious CODiE awards in 2007 and 2008.
When the Supreme Court declared that organizations must archive email we decided to explore how we could help our customers meet this requirement. It turned out that Gaggle’s system for drilling into a students account is exactly what is needed for email administrators who need to search through staff member accounts.
As soon as we finished our new archiving feature, we realized that it was possible to extend our solution to cover organizations running Exchange, GroupWise and other systems. We discovered that our archiving solution offered a number of advantages such as:

- • Secure off-site storage (We maintain two enterprise class storage systems in separate states)
- • Total data integrity (IT staff cannot alter messages)
- • Tiered permissions for message searches

The People Behind Gaggle
The people behind Gaggle have been developing and supporting software and web applications for over 15 years. During that time we’ve listened carefully to what customers need and responded quickly by adding new features.
Jeff Patterson is the co-founder of Gaggle and for the last nine years has lead Gaggle’s technology team. Patterson is the creator of numerous educational software programs. His products include Sound Companion for HyperStudio, Lesson Plan Helper, The Reading Success for Kids series, Sound Effects and Music Loops for Multimedia, HyperStudio Project Resource Kit and Sweet Digizine. Jeff is also the co-founder of Pixel Genius Entertainment, Inc.
Michael Kessler, VP of Sales and Sr. Board Member
Michael Kessler is the co-founder of Gaggle.Net. Prior to joining Gaggle, he was the President of FTC Publishing. FTC markets educational software programs and represents the products of many small and medium sized publishers. FTC has established a solid reputation in the educational software market. It is known for quality educational programs at reasonable prices.
Susan Kessler, Operations Manager
Susan Kessler joined Gaggle in February 2004 and wears many different hats. Susan is an expert in the Gaggle system and the many features and options. She leads the customer service team and overseas both billing and internal operations. Customer service is top priority at Gaggle and Susan will assure our customers are well cared for.
