What is Gaggle?

Gaggle is dedicated to providing safe email accounts for students. The tools we provide allow schools to finally feel secure when giving their students email access.

On the Gaggle Network teachers control what can be written and who can correspond with the students. Messages with inappropriate words are automatically re-routed to the teacher's account. This allows the teacher to decide whether or not the student gets to see the message.

In the future Gaggle will provide online tools for the schools of tomorrow. The Gaggle.Net email service is the first of many learning tools we will offer. We invite you to grow with us as we help to prepare schools for the virtual classroom of the future.

The intent of Gaggle.Net is to give teachers and schools control. In addition to the built-in preferences that allow you to customize your Gaggle.Net account, we can also provide specialized services for your individual needs. Do you want to use your own domain name for your email addresses? Do you want to create your own custom login screen linked to your schools web site? These can be arranged. Your students can even have email addresses such as "JoeyB@Spartan_High.com."

The People Behind Gaggle

The people behind Gaggle.Net have been making educational software for over 5 years. During that time we listened carefully to what teachers need. We found a strong desire for solid educational uses of the internet and the World Wide Web.

Jeff Patterson, President

Jeff Patterson is the lead developer of numerous educational software programs. His products include Sound Companion for HyperStudio, Lesson Plan Helper, The Reading Success for Kids series, Sound Effects and Music Loops for Multimedia, HyperStudio Project Resource Kit and Sweet Digizine. Jeff is also the founder of Pixel Genius Entertainment, Inc.

Michael Kessler, VP of Sales and Sr. Board Member

Michael Kessler is the President of FTC Publishing. FTC markets its own educational software programs and represents the products of many small and medium sized publishers. FTC has established a solid reputation in the educational software market. It is known for quality educational programs at reasonable prices.

Susan Kessler, Operations Manager

Susan Kessler joined Gaggle in February 2004 and wears many different hats. Susan can put together a customized proposal for email accounts that fits the needs of your school or district. She can also assist you with any questions you may have regarding invoices for services and if you have questions regarding the e-rate funding process, do not hesitate to ask.
